Trip to Malacca by Ashlyn Hu Huan Jia

The trip to Malacca is one of the rewarding experience to me. Malacca's multicultural heritage is complete with plentiful museums and assorted cultural attractions. Although Malacca has a rich seam of heritage, but it is under the threat from those twin fruits of development: commercialisation and modernisation. The ever-changing landscape of Malacca will soon be that as developed as that of Singapore.

Beside being captivated and thrilled by the amazing seam of Malacca's rich cultural experience, I was also allured by the aromas of distinctive local cooking. The famous Nyonya-Baba cuisine,reflects the multi-cultural nature of Malacca, the fusion of Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, Indian, British and Malay.
