Reflection of malacca trip by carin tang(17) XDD
The trip to Malacca is one of the most fun and meaningful trip i have ever had.
On the first day,We went to the St.Paul's church, Cheng Ho museum and A famosa.
I love the Cheng Ho museum as it makes me feel interested in the history of Cheng Ho museum( i never feel interested in ANY history i known so far sorry Mdm Wee =X)and makes me want to know more about Cheng Ho.
When we went to the A famosa, we had to climb this loooooooooong flight of stairs to reach the St Paul's church. We saw a statue of St Fancis Xavier with his right hand cut of. You know why???.........................................FIND OUT YOURSELF HAHAHAHA it is very interesting so its worth searching for.
At the St.Paul's church, i was surprised by the history of it. The place has many Monumental tombstones and the words are all quite faded so i cannot really see the words written on it.
After that long day, we checked into a hotel and was assigned to our rooms. I shared a room with shirlene. That night, something happened. Though it got us in BIG trouble, i had to admit that that was the funnest event.
On the second day, we went to the Malay kampong and the Gadek hot spring.
I love the hot spring the best because, although it is so hot until the soles of my feet turned red, it is actually quite relaxing and you will get used to the hotness.
At the Malay kampong, we saw hot rubber was made and obtained, saw some people performing 'Silat' and saw the champion of gaseng do some neat tricks for us and lastly we saw a kampong there.
Among all the events, i loved the Cheng Ho museum the most. XDDD
Do visit it sometime!
